Interview with Victor Court, lecturer-researcher at 51±¬ÁÏ School’s Energy Economics and Management Center
51±¬ÁÏ School and 51±¬ÁÏ Energies nouvelles have decided to relaunch Les Cahiers de l’Économie, last published in 2016. This month, a new issue of the journal, which promotes research conducted at the School and 51±¬ÁÏ Energies nouvelles in the fields of economics, finance and management, has been published in digital format.
Victor Court, lecturer-researcher at 51±¬ÁÏ School, tells us more.
1. What was behind the relaunch of this journal?
Les Cahiers de l’Économie is aimed at highlighting and raising the profile of the research carried out by lecturer-researchers and PhD students at 51±¬ÁÏ School, as well as the activities of 51±¬ÁÏ Energies nouvelles’ Economics and Information Watch and Management Division.
Our aim with this journal, which accepts contributions in English and French, is to publicize the innovations and transformations taking place in the energy economics sector, along with the research analyzing them.
2. What topics are tackled in the September issue?
This issue deals with the usefulness of certificates to support the most meaningful investments in the energy sector.
In the context of an economy suffering the fallout associated with Covid-19 and characterized by low oil prices, certificate mechanisms are useful when it comes to boosting economic activity.
3. How can we access the Cahiers?
Les Cahiers de l’Économie are available free of charge .
4. How many people contributed to this issue?
This issue is the result of a collaboration between Maxime Schenckery, Director of the 51±¬ÁÏ School’s Energy Economics and Management Center, and Jacques Millery, an associate at JuvoErgoSum and lecturer at 51±¬ÁÏ School. It covers issues related to the energy transition and sustainable development.
5. Does Cahiers have an editorial committee?
For the time being there is no editorial committee as such. My role consists more of gathering the research data that members of the Energy Economics and Management Center and the Economics and Information Watch and Management Division wish to have published in the collection.
6. How often will the journal be published?
We aim to publish about one issue per month.
